My favorite Cafe! I take my son on patio dates here often. I love the portobello mushroom panini with the delicious vegetarian chili. Everything I've tried so far has been delicious! And their desserts are excellent too!

Swung by for a BEC bagel sandwich and came back the next day for another. Most other places either try too hard and change up the classic, or use marginal ingredients. This BEC was high quality and classic. Loved it!

It really is delicious, most things anyway. The bathroom requires a key from the front, which I get since it’s right by a door. They are trying to be considerate and accommodating, such as not presently allowing laptop use.
My portobello panini and lobster bisque hit the spot.

Went in for the first time and tried two of their soups. They were amazing! The older woman at the register that took my order was a little condescending and short but I won't let that keep me from going back.

I would absolutely recommend this location. The quiche is always amazing. The drinks are different - but the owners want you to be happy and will make/remake to your liking. It just has a family feel here and they are a great part of the community. The portabella panini with pesto is so delicious!

This little gem cafe, tucked right in downtown SCS, is a perfect stop for homemade soups, sandwiches, coffee, and baked goodies! Jack and Karen, the owners, are the nicest people and so hardworking to provide the best quality food and atmosphere! I did the soup/sandwich combo with chicken noodle and the club sandwich (on panini bread); both were fresh and delicious! I also had the white chocolate caramel mocha which was also wonderful!

I really enjoyed my visit here. The atmosphere and staff were welcoming. Restaurant was very clean. The food was good. I had the bean chili, cheddar broccoli quiche and cafe au lait. I want to place an emphasis on how great the customer service is. It must have been the owner who helped me because he was very pleasant and genuinely glad to be there. I can’t remember the gentleman’s name but he was very kind, patient, and helpful (without being overbearing). I can’t wait to go back!

Love the small business, family vibes here. Got the absolute best lox sandwich I've had in well over a year here today, and I'm happy to announce I'll be visiting again simply for the sandwich. Jackson has always been incredibly kind and quick to acknowledge a new presence, even if he can't immediately serve. Great person to chat with! 4 stars for atmosphere is because there is currently a sign that says no computer use in the cafe.
If you watch the video attached to my review, you can hear me be surprised by the amount of salmon on the bagel. Honestly, it was so good that I'm thinking about going back tomorrow for another one.

A friend and I have been meeting there once a week for years. The food and coffees are excellent, the decor inviting and Jack and Karen always go the extra mile to ensure their customers are pleased. This morning’s breakfast was a perfect broccoli-cheese quiche.

Went here over the weekend with hubby & 16 yr old. We tried 3 soups: White Cheddar w/Cauliflower, Steak & Ale, and Chicken Noodle. All we piping hot & delicious!!! Hubby tried the Monte Cristo. It was hot & delicious. 16 yr old had Triple Grilled Cheese w/ pesto. It was nice & gooey. No leftovers! Good sized paninis. We tried 3 specialty coffees: The Turtle, The Almond Joy & The Milky Way. We got whipped cream. They were hot & delicious. The Almond Joy was the sweetest one and my hubby really liked it. Great lunch. Looking forward to going again and trying something new!!
